Rick Montgomery is the President and curator of The Western Reserve Model Railroad Museum aka (WRMRRM). The museum was formed on September 1st, 2004 and opened to the public on May 1st, 2005. The Museum is the largest model railroad museum of its type in the world. WRMRRM features 26 scales of model trains on display. While having the largest "O" Scale layout in the world. The current 3 rail "O" gauge layout covers 2,640 square feet and has 2,640 linear feet of track and growing!

Family Fun
The Western Reserve Model Railroad Museum was founded with the intent of being a fun place where families could come and learn about model railroading and the history of railroads in America. It has grown to be the largest Model Railroad Museum of its kind in the U.S. in just over 4 years!
It is important for our guests to be able to enjoy playing with trains of various scales without having to empty the vacation budget. As a result we have been able to keep the museum admission free of charge with the help of donors and contributors.
